It's the same tactic every time. An extremist party does not have popular support. What do they do? They resort to intimidation and violence.
Thought experiment: Picture who you think would be a racist American. The media has probably conditioned you to be thinking about old white males. Are old white males savvy with technology? Probably not, or else we wouldn't be joking about grandpa being bad with technology. So who is using social media to spew racist things?
