Thoughts of the Day - Envy

Socialism is more than just an economic theory. Andrew Breitbart used the term Cultural Marxism. I'm going to take it one step further. All these terms are rooted in the deadly sin, Envy.

What is Envy? I'm going to explore this question 2 ways. One is through Christianity. Note, I am no means a Christian scholar. The second way is through the anime, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

From Wikipedia, a common theme for Envy is a desire for another's possessions as well as a desire to see others fall. Envy is dehumanizing because it pits people against each other. Dante saw Envy as a sinful pleasure from seeing others brought low. In Dante's Purgatory, the punishment for Envy is having your eyes sewn shut with wire. Bertrand Russell said that "Envy was one of the most potent causes of unhappiness, bringing sorrow to committers of Envy whilst giving them the urge to inflict pain upon others."

Envy is so sinful, that it is 2nd behind Pride. "In accordance with the most widely accepted views, only Pride weighs down the soul more than envy among the capital sins." Tim Challies also talks about how Envy comes just behind Pride. "It’s crucial to understand that Envy flows out of Pride." Envy is Pride in a social environment. Pride has no meaning without a comparison to another person.

C.S. Lewis says, "Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man." Dorothy Sayers says "Envy is the great leveler: if it cannot level things up, it will level them down … rather than have anyone happier than itself, it will see us all miserable together."

This quote ties in nicely with the character Envy in Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA). He loves human misery, starting civil wars and ruining lives. In his true powered up form, he is the most grotesque looking creature. I bring up FMA for another reason. The deep dark underbelly of government in that story has many parallels to our government. People involved with the shadow government are involved in some disturbing practices to stay in power. And like the anime, these dark forces seek to become gods themselves.

The Left wants socialism because it is envious of wealth. The Left wants Cultural Marxism because it is envious of Western Civilization. The Left wants Atheism because it is envious of Christianity. The Left is very stealthy in how it undermines Christian values. It does so by exploiting values, turning strengths into weaknesses.

Kindness. "You must be tolerant. You must show compassion." Look at Europe. This is pathological altruism. People are sacrificing their way of life for the sake of kindness. Unprecedented numbers of immigrants are flooding into Europe. At what cost? Health care, education, social welfare are at breaking points. The police are overburdened with crime.

Charity. "You must give to the less fortunate." Notice how taxes increase yet the debt constantly increases as well? People pay more and more and get less and less out of the government. The welfare state has destroyed incentives to work because the payouts are so comfortable. People won't work if the welfare gives them a better life.

Justice. "You must support equality and fairness." Identity politics has polluted justice. In the pursuit of "social justice", the Left has resorted to favoritism. Equality means equal outcome. Everyone must be the same and have the same miserable existence.

Remember, Envy wants to see all of us miserable together. And the Left is infected with Envy.

Thoughts of the Day - Milo

Bad joke? Endorsement of pedophilia? Political hit job? Character assassination? Deep state?

There are many angles to analyze what happened to Milo Yiannopoulos. First, the infamous 4chan /pol/ board predicted the Milo scandal hours before it happens. When the videos surface, like clockwork, CPAC withdrawals Milo's Keynote Speaker invitation, Simon and Schuster cancels the publication of Milo's book, and Milo resigns from Breitbart.

We learn that Reagan Battalion was the group who took down Milo. This group endorsed Evan McMullin for President. So this group is part of the Never Trumper crowd. Milo was one of Trump's big supporters.

A week ago General Flynn, another big Trump supporter, resigned as National Security Advisor. Between the Flynn resignation and the Milo story, WSJ publishes a hit piece on PewDiePie, YouTube's biggest star. While PewDiePie is not political, he does have a large young audience. He's a man of great influence to the hearts and minds of the youth. Quite the coincidence all these events happened within the same week.

And now the reactions to the events that unfolded. First, the man himself.

Milo's Statement
Milo's Press Conference

Next, the social media giants give their take.

Sargon of Akkad Gives His Reaction (26 min)
Stefan Molyneux Gives His Reaction (46 min)
Mike Cernovich Gives His Reaction
American Comrade Gives His Reaction
Vox Day Gives His Reaction

My reaction? It was a classic media smear job. Look how quickly events unfolded. Lost in all this is the fact that Milo was a victim of child rape. This is the real tragedy. He was raped when he was 13. As American Comrade points out, Milo re-frames the traumatic experience as a tale of survival. Unfortunately as Mike Cernovich points out, the public did not know about this backstory. His joking manner about the subject of child sexual abuse just sounds wrong without the backstory. And even with the backstory, it is a poor way of dealing with the abuse.

I'm putting on my amateur psychology glasses. Here are some common victim behaviors of survivors of sexual abuse. Oftentimes, the victim will deny the incident because of humiliation, shame and fear. In Milo's case, he spins it. In an attempt at self preservation, he views the abuse as a positive. He feels responsible for the abuse and if the abuse is bad, then he is bad. Stefan Molyneux says similar things but in much more detail in his analysis.

Milo makes the fatal mistake of casting a general view of child sexual abuse based on his experiences. Because of that people can easily say that Milo excuses child sexual abuse. And that's exactly what the media smear campaign does. Because he does not immediately condemn the act after making jokes and positive comments about it, he's left himself open to attack.

I don't think he still fully understands just how destructive child sexual abuse can be. He himself says in his press conference, "I fell into alcohol and nihilistic partying that lasted well into my late 20s." But he doesn't mention anything else about the harmful effects of child sexual abuse afterwards in his press conference. Too much rationalizing, not enough true reflection.

And now for some Leftists who have said similar things Milo has said. And they just fine in the media's eyes.

George Takei
"I was at summer camp, 14 years old, and there was a blond camp counselor who was very tanned and good looking. His t-shirt was rolled up, and the hair on his forearm glistened gold. I made comment, and that was enough to cause him to visit me in the cabin. Oh myyy..."
https://youtu.be/6hDSOyuuSi4

Sarah Silverman
"Hey, is it considered molestation if the child makes the first move?"
Bill Maher
Says 2 things. He'd rather get molested by Michael Jackson than beat up by school bullies. And he makes the distinction that Jackson serviced them, not the other way around. As if that makes it all better.
Lena Dunham
Dunham describes using her little sister at times essentially as a sexual outlet, bribing her to kiss her for prolonged periods and even masturbating while she is in the bed beside her.
Salon Here Here And here

And the finale, Elijah Wood and Corey Feldman talk about how child sexual abuse is the biggest problem in Hollywood. Using Leftist logic, any celebrity that knows about the pedophilia going on but says nothing is guilty.

Thoughts of the Day - White Privilege

"You're a fucking white male!" If you don't know this quote you can quickly google the video. White privilege just means you have the privilege of getting the blame for the ills of society because of the color of your skin.

It means you have the privilege of getting shot at as you try to police crime ridden areas or while deployed oversees. It means you have the privilege of working in the burning heat or the freezing cold to maintain the infrastructure of the country. It means you have the privilege of making whatever sacrifices so your kids may have a better life.

Where was the privilege when people lost their health coverage and their doctors? Lots of privilege when people lost their jobs and left the labor force. And the privilege of all these problems and no voice to help them. Instead of hearing their cries for help, the media decided to lecture them on racism and privilege.

Look up the Harlem Renaissance. Yes, blacks were treated like 2nd class citizens back then. But despite being poor, Harlem was not crime infested. It was a vibrant scene of culture and art. There was not an epidemic of single mothers. What happened in the last century that destroyed black families and infested their communities with drugs and violence?

This is just one of many forms of cultural marxism. Pitting groups against each other to achieve that "utopia" of equal outcome. Because you have privilege, we must tax you for your privilege and give it to those with less privilege. To alter a quote from The Incredibles, "And when everyone's equal... no one will be."

President Trump hears the voices of the forgotten men and women. Which is why you see reactions of hope, relief, and joy from his supporters. But of course, the Fake News media will continue to dismiss his supporters and continue to lecture them. Must be nice having the privilege of destroying people's lives. Time for the media to check their privilege.

"The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer"

Thoughts of the Day - PewDiePie

PewDiePie's Response (11 min)

News outlets attacking Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie just further demonstrate why they are dying. Internet personalities are built from nothing. It's a version of the American Dream to start from nothing and end up with something amazing. It's like the roaring 20s. A lot of new money was generated, yet looked down upon by old money. Old school media relies on status and reputation. They are today's elitist aristocracy and fewer and fewer people like them.

This quote from PewDiePie pretty much summarizes what a lot of people are thinking.
"They blatantly misrepresent people for their own personal gain, even viciously attack people to further themselves" (at 2:28 in the response)
The Fake News Media continues to slander and misrepresent. And then when people criticize them, they fall back on "we are essential. honorable journalism is vital for a democracy". That is a load of bull. They have become so snobbish and narcissistic, they don't realize how much they are hemorrhaging money. People don't like what they are saying.

PewDiePie has 53 million subscribers, a lot of which are kids (South Park did an episode about PewDiePie confirming this). The Fake News Media just made 53 million skeptics. And since the Fake News Media and Democrats go hand in hand, they have just made 53 million Conservatives.

Which confirms what Paul Joseph Watson said, Conservatism is the new Counter-Culture and Generation Z will end up much more conservative than my millennial generation (funny enough I'm PewDiePie's and PJW's age). So keep it up Fake News Media, I'll make sure to piss on your grave when you finally die.

News of the Day - Reince Preibus

Emergency! Trump's Plan to Save Humanity is Under Attack
The CIA Really Is Out to Get General Flynn
Where are the Reince Priebus Hit Pieces?

These stories go together because the Opposition Media and the Intelligence Establishment have been desperate for a scalp. General Flynn is one of those people they want to take out. There have been a considerable number of leaks coming out from the Trump Administration. One of the most notable leaks was a meeting between Flynn and Russia's ambassador. Sources have been saying that it is Priebus leaking this information.

As Mike Cernovich points out, there is a Sherlock Holmes story that describes the media leak situation.
“I had grasped the significance of the silence of the dog, for one true inference invariably suggests others…. Obviously the midnight visitor was someone whom the dog knew well.”
The criminal in the story must have been friendly with the guard dog, because there was no barking when the crime occurred. Compare that with the media's unusually silent treatment of Priebus.

Priebus is the Chief of Staff. This is a big position that often leads to other big political positions. Richard Nixon's Chief of Staff Alexander Haig became secretary of state under Ronald Reagan. Gerald Ford's chief of staff was Dick Cheney. So was Donald Rumsfeld. Rahm Emanuel became Mayor of Chicago.

So why isn't the media going after Priebus the same way they are going after Steve Bannon and Mike Flynn? One could conclude then that the Opposition Media is not barking at Priebus because Priebus is friendly with them. Priebus must be giving the Opposition Media something, leaks.

Thoughts of the Day - Jack Murphy and Vox Day

I will start by saying I know more about Vox Day than I do about Jack Murphy. I have been following Vox Day through Stefan Molyneux. I find their conversations to be the most enjoyable and thought provoking. When it comes to society, Vox's argument is pretty simple. Identity > Culture > Politics. This is very similar to Scott Adam's Persuasion Stack (as shown here). For both Vox and Scott, Identity is the strongest form of persuasion and how people make decisions.

Politics is the bottom of the totem pole for Vox the same way Reason is the bottom of the totem pole for Scott. Both politics and reason are an intellectual endeavor. The reason why intellect is such a weak persuasive argument can be summed up with the analogy of the elephant.
"Perched atop the Elephant, the Rider holds the reins and seems to be the leader. But the Rider’s control is precarious because the Rider is so small relative to the Elephant. Anytime the six-ton Elephant and the Rider disagree about which direction to go, the Rider is going to lose. He’s completely overmatched."
The lizard brain wins easily. Most people lack the mental strength and maturity to tame the elephant. And since we evolved as tribal creatures, the easiest way to associate with a tribe is through similar looking people. In other words, identity is the easiest. Think about it, from a survival standpoint, why the hell would you go against your identity/tribe? It would have been suicide.

Jack's argument can be placed in Vox's 2nd tier, Culture. Jack hopes for a melting pot America that shares the same culture. The American culture is founded on small government, individual liberty, and Christianity. Vox quips that civic nationalism can work as shown by the Romans. The caveat was that Rome was a totalitarian state. One could argue that, civic nationalism is only viable with a strong leader with a strong sense law and order. In other words, Trump.

And here lies the issue with civic nationalism, it requires a strong leader to keep everything in order. It is like a corporation, it is only as strong as its leader. A person can build a great company. A person can Make America Great Again. But that person is mortal. Apple was Steve Jobs creation. Now what does Apple do that is revolutionary? Not much. Trump can only lead for 8 years. Will his successor be able to keep it up?

I'm similar to Jack. I bought the fairy tale illusion that Obama would bring hope and change. I was a young 18 year old dreamer. I drank the liberal Kool-aid and believed the fantasy of a peaceful communist utopia. And then I remember the famous quote by George Carlin, "Question everything". The first round of questioning led me to the manosphere and the world of alpha and gaming. The second round of questioning led me to nutrition and exercise science. The latest round of questioning has led me to explore the ideas of government and persuasion.

Vox's argument will win out in the long run. As he said, "What I am describing is about as optional as gravity." But I think Jack's American Dream is still worth pursuing. Even if the game eventually ends, at least we can get a high score for the history books. Overall, I enjoyed this debate and hope there will be more exchanges between Alt-Light/New Right and Alt-Right. Especially in how both sides can work together to help Trump/Europe make Western Civilization Great Again.

Final thoughts, shout out to Ivan Throne for setting this up. You can find the debate here. Also, buy The Nine Laws. Your survival depends on it. I'm not getting anything by endorsing this. In fact, I'm still in the process of reading it and digesting it. It requires a lot of digestion.

News of The Day - Chyna

NYT and WaPo buying site traffic from China

Big news. Suddenly the New York Times and the Washington Post are seeing a massive increase in web traffic. The only thing is... it's all coming from China. Are these obsolete newspapers relying on China to stay relevant?

Thoughts of the Day - I'm from the government and I'm here to help

The government wanted to tackle education. We are now drowning in student debt. We spend more per child, but still get no measurable increase in academic scores.

The government wanted to tackle drugs. Incarceration rates skyrocketed, but the drugs remained. Cartels are having big success in Mexico. This has led to an massive spike in illegal immigration.

The government wanted to tackle recessions. The creation of the Fed has led to more severe recessions and depressions. And there have been more recessions after than before the Fed.

The government wanted to tackle terrorism. The Middle East is completely destabilized. ISIS is booming. This led to the Europe refugee crisis.

The government wanted to tackle health care. Insurance rates skyrocketed. People lost their coverage and their doctors, spending more for less services. Nutritional guidelines made us fatter and sicker. The VA health system is a mess.

The government wanted to tackle income inequality. The rich got richer. The poor got poorer. The middle class evaporated. The jobs went out of the country.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses wanted to help. They built America, made some wonderful inventions, helped human civilization reach new heights. And now, they'll help fix government.

News of the Day - Sessions Confirmation

Tillerson, DeVos, and Sessions were the most hotly contested Cabinet picks. With Tillerson and DeVos through, Sessions should be going through as well. Time to restore our foreign policy, our education, and our justice system.

For those following Pizzagate, Sessions will be confirmed the same day as National Pizza Day. Kek sure works in mysterious ways. A few things that poke major holes in the Opposition Media's narrative of Sessions.

Coretta Scott King Thanks Jeff Sessions For Rosa Parks Library. Yes the wife of Martin Luther King Jr. thanks the Senator.

Sessions received the NAACP Governmental Award of Excellence

How black Democrats stole votes in Alabama and how Sessions tried to stop it. The narrative is, Sessions went after Civil Rights activists to suppress the black vote. What the Opposition Media left out was during the 1984 Democratic primary, all the serious candidates were black. Two of them, Reese Billingslea and Warren Kinard, ran against the incumbent Turner and “were convinced that fraud was occurring in the election.” So Sessions went after black candidates who were involved in voter suppression against other blacks. The spin is strong.

Thoughts of the Day - The Establishment

Throughout history, the truth seekers, the people who wanted to bring change and improve society were always labeled dangerous and a threat to society. Every slanderous adjective was thrown at them. The establishment did everything to stop them.

Maybe Socrates comes to mind (against the Athenian establishment). Maybe the Founding Fathers come to mind (against the British establishment). Maybe MLK comes to mind (against the American establishment).

Who is currently considered the most dangerous person by the establishment?
